I offer a warm, empathetic, and confidential space to work through whatever brings you to therapy.

Grief and loss

Bereavement, anticipatory grief, pregnancy and baby loss, infertility issues, and other forms of loss.

Mental well-being

Managing mental health, stress, anger management, depression, and anxiety.

My aim is to help you feel heard, understood, and equipped to face your challenges.

Jenny Jones Counselling, Sheffield

A compassionate process

I want to truly understand your goals and what is troubling you. I'll listen with non-judgemental empathy. Going at your own pace, we will explore what has led to your current difficulties and may consider the impact of past experiences on your present.

How we work together will vary according to your needs and preferences.

You may want help with identifying & understanding your emotions and changing how you respond to triggers. If you're struggling with anxiety or overwhelm,  I may offer practical emotional grounding techniques to support you in the moment.  If you're experiencing negative thoughts I may incorporate exercises to reframe thinking and support your understanding of behaviours.

How counselling can help

"After around 15 hours of sessions, I’m now back at work, managing my day-to-day life, and feeling much more confident in myself.

There have still been difficult moments along the way like the first Christmas without my dad but I’ve learned to understand my limits and feel better equipped to cope."

I know my grief will always be a part of me, and there will be times when it feels overwhelming. But I also know I can always return to Jenny for support if I need to."
